What It's About:

Success of a community is creating an environment of neighborhood—a place to be happy alone, with a small group of friends or sharing a larger gathering for an evening of fun. In this advanced session, we will discuss the expectations of today’s 55+ home buyer and offer ideas that have worked (and some that haven’t) in responding to their demands. Size, location and price of an amenity may vary, but many programming and development ideas are the same. Hear an experienced builder and designer discuss how to work together through the process of developing a thoughtful and exciting community with amenities that grow as the neighborhood changes.

What You'll Learn:

  • Gain an understanding of the 55+ buyer wants and must-haves when it comes to community and amenities.
  • Discover design and programming ideas for amenities spaces, floor plan concepts and finishes that reflect the fun the 55+ buyer is searching for.
  • Understand the flexible nature of creating success with the ever-changing 55+ buyer.

How to Attend:

Participants must be registered for a full registration package or a 1-day education with expo pass package valid for the day of the session they wish to attend. Seating for Building Knowledge sessions will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
