What It's About:

This advanced session provides a comprehensive step-by-step program to improve your build quality, profitability and reputation for delivering exactly what was promised to your buyers. Total Quality Assurance (QA) starts early with product development and then touches every step of the home building life cycle—from marketing, sales and construction, into warranty and beyond. A measurable QA program improves more than just construction quality; it also improves how you communicate as an organization—creating a better, more consistent experience for your buyers and separating you and your homes from your competition.

What You'll Learn:

  • Understand the systemic approach to quality assurance starting with product definition, sales, selections, through release, construction, delivery and warranty.
  • Learn the details of what each department needs to do in order to participate in a company-wide total QA program.
  • Identify the competitive benefits of a QA program: from durable communities and homes to happier home buyers willing to recommend the builder.
  • Convert warranty liability (overhead) into a profit source by bringing most warranty work in-house with a valuable "pro handyman" service for the community.

How to Attend:

Participants must be registered for a full registration package or a 1-day education with expo pass package valid for the day of the session they wish to attend. Seating for Building Knowledge sessions will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
