With boomers looking to down-size their homes and up-size their lives, many are working later in life, yet seeking opportunities to connect with people like them, have fun and stay healthy in mind and body. The 55+ housing market is more than just building homes; it is about reaching the consumers that are actively looking to buy into the complete 55+ lifestyle. In this session, home builder executives from different parts of the country (Georgia, Delaware and Inland California) will share their experiences and lessons learned when it comes to consumer profiles, amenities, home designs, operational issues and creating the right lifestyle for their unique, local market.

  • Learn about the similarities and differences between three distinct markets these builders represent.
  • Hear what the likenesses and differences are in a consumer profile per region.
  • Understand how community planning is approached for home designs, amenities, lifestyle and more.
  • Gain insight from builders sharing operational lessons learned.

Participants must be registered for a full registration package or a 1-day education with expo pass package valid for the day of the session they wish to attend. Seating for Building Knowledge sessions will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
