What It's About:

Multifamily developers are always seeking more efficient ways to build, lease and retain tenants, and modular construction can be a viable, more efficient solution when executed well. Off-site construction has greater waste-loss prevention, return on investment and logistical support with less oversight. During this session, gain modular construction tips and tricks, and hear common mistakes and red flags to watch for during your modular feasibility evaluation. Learn how to address today’s challenges in transportation, local inspection regulations and labor shortages while capitalizing on the optimized process of modular construction.

What You'll Learn:

  • Recognize the impact of design on constructability.
  • Learn the value between off-site construction vs. local labor and regulatory constraints.
  • Understand the potential pitfalls of a new-to-modular builders first project, and learn how to avoid them.

How to Attend:

Participants must be registered for a full registration package or a 1-day education with expo pass package valid for the day of the session they wish to attend. Seating for Building Knowledge sessions will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
