Education + Expo Pass

It’s no surprise that the construction industry lacks diversity. And yet, diversity matters. Diversity brings a unique perspective to any workforce and can answer many of the challenges our industry faces, such as labor shortage, greater team engagement, increasing productivity, and excellence in decision-making and innovation. Developing greater diversity in construction will require a committed focus on all fronts—from business owners, industry leaders and even from diverse individuals. In this session, we'll discuss why diversity matters, how to create a welcoming environment to attract a more diverse workforce, and how diverse individuals can take ownership for personal growth and leadership.

  • Explore the many reasons why diversity matters to the industry, business and how diversity can enhance the industry in innovation, reputation and bottom line.
  • Learn how to create a more welcome and diverse culture to attract a diverse workforce.
  • Recognize how diverse individuals can take ownership for personal growth and career development through leadership enhancement.

Participants must be registered for an Education + Expo Pass package or a 1-Day Education + Expo Pass package valid for the day of the session they wish to attend. Seating for Building Knowledge sessions will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Already registered?
