What It's About

The 2020 National Electric Code (NEC) is sweeping the nation and within its' pages are several changes that will significantly raise costs of building and remodeling homes. This session will examine the top 13 changes that will have you raising your eyebrow and inspiring spirited discussion amongst participants. Some of the changes we’ll discuss include: ground fault protection devices; and the number of receptacles required at islands and peninsulas, whole house surge protectors, and an external emergency disconnect. What's required by the 2020 NEC could be one of the most discussed topics at IBS this year.
