We’ve gathered elite architects, designers and color strategists into one must-attend Master session that will prepare you for the year ahead in all things design. They’ll cover what you need to know to excite buyers and stay ahead of the curve, beginning with a snapshot of trends and an overview of what to expect from design in 2019. Two architects will key in on the latest in architectural styles, from budget-friendly to luxury living. A color strategist will teach you how to gain the advantage in exterior color and styling trends. You’ll explore what’s new in product development and can’t-miss design details, and take an in-depth look in kitchens and baths—two of the hottest topics for IBS 2019. These leading industry professionals will leave no stone unturned in this deep dive into architecture and design. Whether you’re a builder or designer, come away ready to gain every design advantage in 2019 and beyond.
Master Sessions are in-depth, 3-hour intensive programs that dig deeper into specific industry topics. The sessions are open to all attendees with a Full Registration or 1-Day Education valid for the day of the session they wish to attend, but you can guarantee your Master Session seat for $25 per session. Reserved seating can only be purchased online during IBS advance registration. Tickets purchased by January 18, 2019 will be mailed to the address in your registration record prior to the show. Tickets purchased between January 19 and February 16, 2019 must be picked up by the purchaser at the Special Events Ticket Counter in the IBS Registration Tent onsite. Please note that Master Sessions reserved seating tickets are not sold onsite. Doors will open 15 minutes prior to the listed start time and reserved seating will be held until 15 minutes after. At that time, any non-guaranteed seating will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis at no additional charge to attendees with a Full Registration or 1-Day Education valid for the day of the session they wish to attend. Fees for Master Sessions are not refundable.

Building Knowledge Session – These 60 minute sessions are the foundation of IBS education. With more than 100 sessions in 7 education tracks, you are guaranteed to find programs on the hottest, most relevant building industry topics. Full registration or 1-day education registration for the day of the session is required.
Master Session – These sessions are in-depth, three-hour intensive programs that dig deeper into specific industry topics. Master sessions are open to those with a Full registration or a 1-day education registration for the day of the session, but have limited seating for an optimal learning experience. Attendees may guarantee a seat for $25 per session during registration. Prior to each session, any non-guaranteed seating will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis at no additional charge.
Spotlight Session – These 60-minute sessions feature high-profile speakers and highlight the latest trends the industry has to offer. Full registration or 1-day education registration for the day of the session is required.
Game Changer Session – These twice daily keynotes feature thought leaders who are transforming their companies and the way we think about and address issues critical to the housing industry. Full registration or 1-day education registration for the day of the session is required.
Tech Bytes Session – These 30 minute sessions offer a one-of-a-kind opportunity to discover the latest tech applications and platforms through hands-on experiences. Following each session, speakers offer "Office Hours" where you can see extended demos or work one-on-one with an expert. Full registration or 1-day education registration for the day of the session is required.
Advanced - Attendees should have extensive prior knowledge of the subject matter.
Intermediate - Attendees should have fundamental prior knowledge of the subject matter.
Novice - Attendees need little or no prior knowledge of the subject matter.
