Nicole Goolsby is a licensed NC General Contractor and owner of Red Ladder Residential, a construction company in the Triangle building renovations, additions and custom homes. Nicole has been involved in the real estate and construction industry for over 30 years with a broad spectrum of experience ranging from finance to sales to construction. Nicole is originally from Canada but has spent the majority of her life in the southeastern United States. As an economics major from the University of Richmond with an entrepreneurial spirit, she knew she would have her own business. Her construction experience began in 1996 with a land development and production building company in Davidson, NC. In 2000, she became a NC licensed General Contractor and founded Rion Homes a small volume building and remodeling company at Lake Norman. In 2015, Nicole began working in the Triangle area and has since been remodeling homes, building additions and providing new construction services as well. Nicole has always stayed deeply involved in housing with advocacy with Home Builders Associations, Habitat for Humanity and NAWIC and through her industry commitment she has not only built a reputation as a qualified, award winning builder but also as a leader. Recently she served as President of her local and was named the 2021 Builder of the Year. Nicole has been involved in many association boards and committees at the local, state and national level. She is a NAHB Sr. Life Director.
