Yvonne Johnson

Yvonne Johnson is the co-founder and principal designer of Reclaimed Karma, a boutique design-build firm based in Marietta, Georgia, that she runs alongside her husband and licensed general contractor, Chris Johnson. What began in 2014 as a personal mission to transform their own home evolved into a full-service firm specializing in luxury full home design and renovations, new builds, light commercial projects and project management. Their commitment to sustainability – using reclaimed wood, antique furniture and other materials with history – is baked into the company's identity and values. Their reputation earned them an invitation to star in their own nationwide television show, Reclaimed Reno, on the DIY Network. Since then, Reclaimed Karma has gone on to partner with national brands including The Home Depot, Habitat for Humanity, Buildertrend, Scotts and Loctite. As principal designer and the firm's interior design lead, Yvonne brings a trained eye and business acumen to every project. A champion for women and minorities in the trades, Yvonne is outspoken about the importance of education and showing up with expertise. Yvonne is active on social media, where she and Chris document every step of running their business together, and has built a loyal following drawn to their authenticity, craftsmanship and shared mission.
