Chrissi Antonopoulos is a Senior Building Scientist in the residential group, focusing her work on advancing energy-efficient building technologies to support cost-effective, resilient, and durable housing. Dr. Antonopoulos’ research is primarily centered on residential buildings, emphasizing building systems science, indoor air quality (IAQ), urban heat and wildfire impacts, and optimizing energy performance. Dr. Antonopoulos also leads behavioral studies that explore decision-making processes in households to promote the adoption of energy-efficient practices and technologies. She has published field studies on IAQ and ventilation, building technology adoption, and lifecycle assessments of buildings.
