Joe Stoddard, a former homebuilder and general contractor, founded Mountain Consulting Group in 1995. MCG is an operations consultancy dedicated to assisting our industry become more efficient and profitable through strategic planning, lean operations, and the smart application of technology. MCG's clients include top-400 builders, management consultancies, and technology providers developing products for the building industry. MCG developed the BuildScore balanced scorecard system for evaluating builder performance. For the past 20 years, Mr. Stoddard has been associated with SMA Consulting as both an Instructor and SMA Certified Systems Implementer.
