Southern Crafted Shutters Simpsonville, South Carolina

Kristin Meyer is the CEO and co-owner of Southern Crafted Shutters, an exterior shutter manufacturer and retailer out of the Upstate of South Carolina.  She won the 2023 Professional Women in Building of the Year at her home HBA and is currently the chairwoman of her PWB. She is passionate about providing amazing service: whether it’s helping develop her team, proactively communicating with her customers or partnering with other business owners. She believes that culture is everything and strives to maintain a work environment where people have fun, get things done and feel like family. She once completed an Ironman triathlon, climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro, hiked the Inca Trail and did a half marathon on the Great Wall of China, but most days, she is a bit less intense. It’s not uncommon to find her working on her (very shady) garden and picking vegetables before they are ready (patience isn’t her virtue) or hanging out with her husband and their 2 cats.
