Jennifer Castenson currently serves as the vice president of COGNITION Smart Data and market analytics at Green Builder Media. In this role, she develops strategies to explore real-time, forward-looking intelligence from builders and consumers on the leading edge of emerging demand signals by capturing behavioral patterns, emotional drivers, and purchase motivations that sit upstream of transactions and specification decisions. Previously, Castenson served as the vice president at construction project management platform, Buildxact, and vice president of programming at national media and data group Zonda. Castenson also serves as contributing writer to Forbes, reporting on innovation in the built environment.
Currently, she is the second vice chair for the NAHB healthier homes and communities committee, and she led the working group on housing attainability with NAHB's Leading Suppliers Council for two years. She serves as secretary on the board of the Home Improvement Research Institute, on the advisory board for startup Fornidos, and on the AARP Future of Housing Advisory Group. She also served on an ESG Working Group organized by Green Builder Media to define and implement industry ESG improvements.
