Meeting the Demand for Healthy Homes: Design, Build & Maintenance Strategies
Thursday, February 2 | 12:30 - 1:00 PM
LVCC - IBS Construction Performance Zone - SU844
What It’s About
The growing health and wellness movement is translating into new buying behaviors and consumer demands with respect to modern built environments. Building professionals must adapt to meet their buyers’ needs by tailoring the way our homes are designed and constructed. In this dynamic presentation, Dr. John McKeon will break down the different aspects of a build and simplify the task of creating a healthy indoor environment. He’ll take you on a virtual building walk-through to identify air quality hazards, sources and influencing factors and share key strategies for building healthier indoor spaces, from the materials and finishing to building use and maintenance.
