AIA Continuing Education Credit

Continuing Education (CE) Credits @ IBS

This information is related to IBS 2026.

THE ADDED VALUE OF IBS EDUCATION

To assist members and attendees in reaching their annual continuing education requirements, many IBS Education sessions provide continuing education credit toward NAHB, NKBA and AIA professional designations. There are also opportunities to earn NAHB CE credit(s) by attending pre-show courses, pre-show symposiums, Building Knowledge Sessions, Super Sessions, Game Changers and AI & Tech Studio sessions. Please reference the “Continuing Education” section of individual sessions and program listings on BuildersShow.com to determine the CE available.

Please note, we do not have formal agreements to provide CE for individual state contractor licenses or for any other organizations beyond NAHB, NKBA and AIA; however, some will accept IBS Education without pre-approval. Please check with your licensing/crediting body for more information about what, if any, programs from IBS may qualify.

Reporting Your Credits: For those seeking AIA credit, more than 20 Building Knowledge Sessions and the pre-show Building Science Symposium have received approval. We will supply you with an AIA Session Participation Form to fill out and return to us, which we will then submit to AIA's CES Records on your behalf. NAHB credits are automatically recorded by scanning into the Building Knowledge Sessions. NKBA credits must be self-reported and should be monitored independently.
