Sharing of Registration Data with Official Hotels

By registering for the Event, the registrant acknowledges and agrees that NAHB may share their personal data — including name, company, contact information and registration details — with NAHB’s official hotel partners and housing vendor(s) for the limited purposes of:

  • Facilitating hotel room bookings associated with the event.
  • Verifying eligibility for group housing blocks or special hotel rates.
  • Ensuring consistency between Event registration and housing records.
  • Preventing unauthorized or fraudulent use of Event-related housing blocks.

This data sharing is conducted in accordance with NAHB’s Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws. Registrants who do not wish to have their data shared for these purposes may opt out by contacting NAHB in writing at [email protected]. However, opting out may affect the registrant’s ability to secure hotel accommodations within the official Event room block.

NAHB Members — Hotel rooms have been assigned to state/local associations by the NAHB Convention & Meetings Committee. To be placed in a state/local association block, hotel accommodations must be requested in the assigned property on or before December 3, 2026. Assignment in state/local HBA hotels is not guaranteed due to the limited availability in each property. Any questions regarding your association’s particular hotel assignment should be directed to the respective Executive Officer. Hotel accommodations will be based upon availability.

Non-Members — Hotel rooms will be assigned on a first come, first served basis, based on the hotel preferences selected. NOTE: Online registration at BuildersShow.com allows for immediate hotel room confirmation.

Hotel Deposits* A credit card (valid through February 2027) is required to secure the reservation. A deposit equal to the first night’s room and tax of 13.38% (subject to change) will be charged by the hotel to the card provided when the reservation is sent to the hotel in early January. By providing credit card information the attendee acknowledges that charge. If credit card information is not provided, a room will not be assigned. Checks are not accepted for hotel deposits. *NOTE: Hotel rates include a booking fee and shuttle transportation fee to and from the convention center.

On or before January 8, 2027: Final deadline to make changes and room cancellations online.

January 9 - 10, 2027: Any reservation changes, cancellations, or requests for new reservations must be emailed to [email protected] for approval and availability. All reservations* will be sent to the hotels on Monday, January 11th. *Note – reservations for the following hotels will be sent to the hotel on January 6, 2027: Residence Inn by Marriott Convention Center and Courtyard by Marriott Convention Center.

January 11-12, 2027: No cancellations or modifications may be made during this time. All hotel reservations are being processed and transferred to the hotels. The hotel may charge the first night’s room and tax deposit to the credit card provided to secure the reservation upon receiving the reservation from Maritz.

Commencing January 13, 2027: Attendees must contact the hotel directly to cancel or modify room reservations. Failure to cancel in accordance with the cancellation policy printed on your confirmation will result in the forfeiture of the entire deposit. Under no circumstances will NAHB be responsible for refunding or returning a processing fee or room deposit for a canceled room reservation nor will NAHB be responsible for any damages from a failure to cancel a reservation.

January 18, 2027: Hotel confirmation numbers will be sent to all attendees who made hotel reservations within the IBS block.

*NOTE: Failure to check in on the scheduled arrival day or cancellation of the hotel reservation could result in a first night’s room and tax penalty. Please refer to the hotel confirmation for the specific cancellation policy at your hotel.
