Important requirements for IBS 2027 exhibitors planning to have fire burning products in your booth!

Step 1: Read and review Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC) rules and regulations regarding open flames, flammable lighters, torch lighters, candles, fire pits, fireplaces and hot works.

Step 2: Complete the LVCC Fireplace and Fire Pit Display form (required for all fire burning products) and follow all submission instructions.

Step 3: You must have a minimum 10-pound 2A:20BC fire extinguisher at your booth. The fire extinguisher needs to have a current State of Nevada Fire Marshall inspection tag affixed and the extinguisher must be charged with all parts functioning (hoses, safety pin present and secured).

Step 4: Please review and complete page four of the Clark County Fire Department Fire Permit Guide. Booths using any type of flame must keep a completed copy of this form at the booth.

NOTE: Any hot works performed in a booth needs to also have signage stating “Hot Works in Progress.”

In addition, if your booth will include an open flame (not enclosed in glass), you must also complete these steps:

Step 1: Fire Pits not fully enclosed with a glass front, or a protective heat/contact barrier will require an Open-Flame Permit from the Clark County Fire Department. Applications for open flame permits can be submitted online or by email: [email protected].

Step-by -step instructions are included on pages 2-9 of the LVCC rules and regulations for open flame document.

Step 2: Assign a person for Fire Watch. This person needs to read and submit the Clark County Fire Watch Requirements form. This fire watch form is submitted after payment when you submit your renderings and all other paperwork.
