Nick is the Director Sustainability for Sekisui House. Prior to joining SH Residential Holdings, he held ESG leadership roles at technology and infrastructure firms including Aventiv Technologies, Workiva, APX, and Enablon, where he spearheaded enterprise-wide sustainability strategies, carbon accounting systems, and regulatory readiness aligned with emerging CSRD and SEC rules. At Aventiv, he built the company’s ESG architecture from the ground up, integrating energy and water KPIs into facility operations and ensuring audit- ready disclosures across legal and compliance teams.
Nick brings more than 20 years of multidisciplinary experience spanning green building, residential energy efficiency, and ESG systems. He has led QA and compliance programs aligned with RESNET, HERS, LEED, and IECC standards, and supported environmental compliance initiatives governed by EPA, CARB, NEPA, and CEQA.
Earlier in his career, Nick founded and sold two technology startups focused on sustainability analytics and regulatory reporting. He also held leadership positions at JD Edwards, Oracle, and Sphera, where he implemented environmental risk platforms for construction, healthcare, and real estate clients.
Nick holds an M.S. in Applied Physics from Columbia University and a B.S. in Mathematics and Physics from UC Santa Cruz. Based in Colorado, he is passionate about operationalizing ESG strategy through collaboration, performance metrics, and continuous learning.
