Yes, children under 18 years of age must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times when in the exhibit areas. Registration of children is complimentary and must be done onsite. All children except infants in backpacks or slings must be registered and display a badge to be admitted to the exhibit areas. Strollers for children are permitted in the Exhibit areas during published Show hours. Attendees assume all risks associated with the use of strollers on the Show floor, including but not limited to personal injury or property damage.

No, due to the sensitive nature of new products and unique booth displays at the Show, photography and/or video recording of any booths within the Exhibit areas by any attendee/exhibitor personnel is prohibited. Exceptions are made only when permission is obtained from the exhibitor whose booth/product is being photographed/videotaped and/or all individuals appearing in the photograph or video.

Design & Construction Week® (DCW) features the co-location of the NAHB International Builders’ Show® (IBS), the National Kitchen & Bath Association’s Kitchen & Bath Industry Show® (KBIS). This mega-event brings together more than 70,000 builders, general contractors, remodelers, designers, flooring professionals, as well as product specifiers from around the globe.

You will receive a email confirmation immediately upon completing your registration. You can use your confirmation letter as your receipt.

You can make changes to your registration online using your confirmation number and last name to log into your record. If you do not have your confirmation number, changes can be made by calling the Registration and Housing Office at 747-226-7761 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. (Central).

Expo Pass (including spouses): Non-refundable and all sales are final.

Expo+Education Pass, First Time Attendee (including spouses): Once a registration has been processed, a $35 fee will be charged per cancellation. If a registration and special event ticket bundle is purchased only the registration fee portion of the bundle is refundable as outlined above. The special event ticket portion of the bundle is non-refundable. Requests for refunds must be received in writing via email at [email protected]. Refund deadline will be posted in early September.

Special Events: Tickets to special events including those purchased in a bundled registration package are non-refundable. All sales are final.

Weather: A request for a weather-related refund of registration fees will be considered by NAHB at its sole discretion, on a case-by-case basis, provided the request is received by NAHB within five (5) business days after the close of the Event. If approved, in lieu of a refund of the amount of the registration fee, NAHB will register the individual for the next Event at no charge and will provide the identical registration type that was originally purchased.

Yes, you will need to register for IBS 2024. Click here to complete your registration.

One registration has to be started in order to add more people. Once the final page registration page is reached, at the bottom of the menu bar, select the "add a coworker." The coworkers demographic information is required to complete the registration process. The coworker must have a unique email address to complete the registration. Once all coworkers are added, select "complete my registration" to pay and complete all registrations. Everyone will receive a confirmation email with their unique confirmation ID number. There will be an option to be copied on everyone's confirmation email.

Hotel & Transportation Information

Hotel reservations can be made online during the registration process. All hotel accommodation requests must be made through the NAHB International Builders' Show Registration and Housing Office or online. Show hotels will not accept individual or direct requests for rooms. Follow this link to book your hotel room. View the map of all the hotels.

Yes, complimentary shuttle service will be provided between Official Show Hotels and the LVCC, except for properties that are not within walking distance of the convention center. Find the shuttles here.

In addition to complimentary shuttle service from Official Hotels to the LVCC, there are several other ways to get to the Show:

The Monorail: It connects the Las Vegas Convention Center to the following hotels along the Las Vegas Strip: MGM Grand Station, Bally’s/Paris Las Vegas Station, Flamingo/Caesars Palace Station, Harrah’s/The LINQ Station, and SAHARA Las Vegas Station. Traveling at a top speed of 50 mph, the system is a safe, clean and reliable way to travel to and from the 2024 International Builders' Show.

The Loop: Vegas Loop at the Las Vegas Convention Center quickly transports passengers throughout the 200-acre Las Vegas Convention Center campus in a fun and convenient way, free of charge. The system consists of two one-way, .8-mile-long tunnels built to accommodate all-electric Tesla vehicles driving at speeds of up to 35 mph. The LVCC Loop reduces a 25-minute walk to a less than two-minute ride.

Taxis: Take a taxi to and from the LVCC, the airport, and the official show hotels.

Uber/Lyft: Uber and Lyft are car pickup services that can be a great alternative to waiting in long transportation lines. You can download the Uber app or Lyft app to your smartphone.

Yes, NAHB negotiates special travel and transportation discounts for attendees of the International Builders' Show. View this page for airline and rental car discounts.

Limited parking is available at the LVCC. See the parking map of the LVCC.

No, overnight parking at the Convention Center is prohibited. Vehicles left overnight will be towed at the owner's risk and expense.

Pre-Show Education Course Information

There are three types of educational opportunities available at the Show:

  • Pre-Show NAHB Education Courses
  • Pre-Show IBS Master Workshops
  • IBS Education Sessions

Pre-Show Education Courses are a separate and extra cost, and do not include an Expo Pass. An IBS Expo Pass is included with the purchase of an NAHB Education course. View this page for more information.

Pre-Show Education Courses are half-day and full-day courses on specific topics taught by NAHB-approved instructors. They are not included with registration for the Show and require a separate fee.

IBS Sessions are available on a first-come, first-served basis to Expo+Education Pass Registrants.

If space allows, tickets may be available for purchase prior to the start of the course.

Education Information

Pre-Show NAHB Courses are half-day and full-day courses on specific topics taught by NAHB-approved instructors. They are not included with registration for the Show and require a separate fee.

Train the Trainer is a course designed for building industry professionals who wish to teach NAHB’s instructor-led classroom courses, industry experts or experienced teachers who have had no formal education in training and any trainers who want a refresher to improve their classroom training skills. This course is not included with registration for the Show and requires a separate fee.

IBS Sessions are available on a first-come, first-served basis to Expo+Education Pass Registrants.

Yes, you must purchase an Expo+Education Pass to have unlimited access to all education sessions during the Show.

The Request for Proposals (RFP) for speaking at IBS 2024 has closed. Please complete our IBS speaker inquiry form and we'll email you when we begin accepting applications for IBS 2025.

Access to the 2023 IBS Education On-Demand Library has now ended. Session recordings from the 2024 IBS Education sessions are included in an Expo+Education Pass registration.

International Attendee Information

Depending on your citizenship, you may or may not need a visa to travel to the United States to attend the International Builders’ Show. You can also find out more information via the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Consular Affairs.

Letters of Invitation will be available upon request. You MUST be a registered attendee or exhibitor of the 2024 Builders' Show to request a letter of invitation. During registration, you will be asked if you require a Letter of Invitation. If yes, you will be presented with an online form to confirm the necessary information for the letter. Upon completion of your registration, you will receive a PDF copy of the letter of invitation via email. You may also choose to receive a mailed copy in your request.

Yes. If you need to receive your letter more quickly, we can send it via Federal Express or UPS. You will need to include a valid Federal Express or UPS account number when submitting your request. If you do not include a valid account number, the letter will be sent by standard international mail. NAHB may contact you via email to verify this information.

No. NAHB cannot send letters directly to embassies or consulates. No exceptions are made.

Yes. A valid Electronic System of Travel Authorization (ESTA) approval is required for all eligible Visa Waiver Program (VWP) participants to travel to the United States. The Department of Homeland Security's ESTA is an automated system used to determine the eligibility of visitors to travel to the United States under the VWP. ESTA applications may be completed FREE online at the official Department of Homeland Security website.

Yes. The Department of Homeland Security strictly enforces this requirement. VWP travelers who have not obtained approval through ESTA should expect to be denied boarding on any air carrier bound for the United States. Be sure to fill out and submit your application well in advance of your travel dates.
